Prevention Through Education
Did you know that the average American unsubsidized customer in 2016 paid premiums for individual coverage on an average of, “$321 per month while premiums for family plans averaged $833 per month. The average annual deductible for individual plans was $4,358 and the average deductible for family plans was $7,983,” according to eHealthInsurance.
As Ester Bloom from CNBC reports, “that means that, last year, the average family paid $9,996 for coverage alone, and, if they met their deductible, a total of just under $18,000. Meanwhile, an average individual spent $3,852 on coverage and, if she spent another $4,358 to meet her deductible, a total of $8,210. These figures do not take into account any additional co-insurance responsibility one might have. In addition to co-pays and deductibles, an increasing number of plans now require co-insurance payments, which require that, even once you meet your deductible, you continue paying some percentage of all costs until you hit your out-of-pocket maximum.”
What is the solution? One word: PREVENTION. What if you could cut the cost of your healthcare down by not being sick? And what if you began to educate yourself on your Body Type and the way your body functions so that you understood what it was telling you? One of the things we stress here at OHO Seminars is that prevention happens through education. That is our mission: to help you keep yourself well in order to enjoy life. We see ourselves as the ambassador to your body.
By going through our educational courses whether it be Navigating Nutrition or Harmonizing Your Training, you will begin to learn the language of your own body and understand how it works. Through our Body Type Community you will be connected with like minded individuals who are searching for health and wellness for themselves and their families as well, not to mention a ton of other great perks such as weekly recipes, kid’s corner, ingredient lists, and monthly interactive blogs with Jiao Shi. For a fraction of the price you would pay for your co-pays throughout the year, now you will have access to exactly how to keep your family well.
Save yourself the co-pays and specialist visits by staying well, and instead take a vacation to expand your horizons!
