These have the same root but different branches.  The BTS is rooted in Ancient Chinese medicine where as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a more integrated approach for the modern era.  The general term is called Constitutional Diagnosis.  The BTS is not a disease oriented model and therefore no diagnosis is necessary
